1. Who we are
BeineLab ("we", "the Service") is a video editing tool available at beinelab.kz and app.beinelab.kz. It helps teams turn long videos into short clips and publish them to social platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Threads) at the user's request.
2. Data we collect
We collect: (a) account data — username and password hash for signing in to the Service; (b) content you upload — video files, logos, and generated clips; (c) connected account data — when you connect a TikTok, Instagram, Threads, YouTube or Google account via OAuth, we store the account's display name, e-mail address, platform account ID, and access/refresh tokens.
We do not collect payment data, precise location, or contacts. We do not read your social media messages, followers, or feed.
3. How we use data
Data is used solely to provide the Service: processing your videos into clips and uploading content to the accounts you explicitly connected, only when you initiate a publish action. OAuth tokens are used exclusively to perform these actions and to refresh access as permitted by the platform.
4. Sharing
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. Content is transmitted to TikTok, Instagram (Meta), Threads or YouTube only when you choose to publish to those platforms, subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
To select highlights and correct subtitles, the speech transcript of a video you process may be sent to our AI subprocessor (Anthropic) for that single request. Speech recognition itself runs on our own servers. Neither the transcript nor your video is retained by the subprocessor and neither is used to train machine learning models.
4a. Product analytics
We use PostHog (EU region) to measure how the Service is used: which screens are opened, which actions are started, whether a processing job succeeded or failed, and how long it took. These events contain your account name, the type of action and technical counters only. They never contain your video or audio content, subtitle or caption text, file names, video links, or access tokens. PostHog sets a first-party cookie to recognise returning sessions. If you prefer not to be measured, enable "Do Not Track" in your browser or write to support@beinelab.kz and we will exclude your account.
5. Google user data (Google Drive and YouTube)
When you connect a Google account, BeineLab requests only the scopes it needs for features you explicitly start:
- drive.file — to open the specific video files you pick in the Google Picker as a source for editing, and to save a finished clip back to your Drive when you press "Save to Google Drive". BeineLab can only see the files you select; it has no access to the rest of your Drive.
- youtube.upload — to publish a finished clip, its title, description and thumbnail to the YouTube channel you connected, only when you press Publish or schedule a post.
- youtube.readonly — to list the channels you own so you can choose a destination channel, and to read the statistics of the videos on those channels for your report.
- yt-analytics.readonly — to show watch time, average view duration, audience retention and audience demographics for your own channel inside the "Report" screen.
Google user data is used only to provide these user-facing features. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell or transfer it, and we do not use it to train machine learning models. Access and refresh tokens are stored server-side, are never exposed to other users, and are deleted when you disconnect the account in BeineLab. You can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
BeineLab's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
BeineLab uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Stored YouTube data (channel ID, channel title, video IDs and their metrics) is refreshed or deleted within 30 days, and immediately when you disconnect the channel.
6. Storage and security
Data is stored on infrastructure controlled by the Service operator. Access tokens are kept server-side and are never exposed to other users. Transport is encrypted (HTTPS).
7. Retention and deletion
You can disconnect a connected account at any time in the Service, which deletes its stored tokens. You may also revoke access in the platform's own security settings. To delete your account and all associated data, email support@beinelab.kz; we will remove it within 30 days.
8. Changes
We may update this policy; the current version is always available at this URL.
